Renews-Cappahayden
2008 Come Home
Year
“TIME TO COME HOME”
On behalf of the
Come Home
Committee, I extend an invitation to one and all to come back home to
help
celebrate a fun filled week of festivities in Renews-Cappahayden on
August 8th
–August 16th, 2008.
Our committee
is
busy planning
events for all ages and interests from Bingo and Card Games to Dinner
Theatre
and Dances (sorry cash only - no personal cheques or credit cards). Take a
look at the schedule
of events, we are sure you will find something to suit everyone. We realize the these
events can be successful
only with your support so come home,
will ya?
The theme we
have
selected is “Time
to Come Home” which we think says it all.
No matter how busy we are in our lives
or
where our journeys take us,
there comes a time when we need to come back home to connect with our
families
and our heritage. August
8th-16th,
2008 is your “Time to Come Home” to Renews-Cappahayden.
I invite you
now to
make plans to
bring yourselves & your families together to re-visit your
childhood
haunts, go to the Mount or Burnt Head, smell the sea air, sample some
down home
scoffs, have a scuff or two for old times sake or just get together for
an old
time chat.
Time
is slipping along so get a move
on, we’ll be waiting for you .
